# Set Video Thumbnail

`POST /metadata/thumbnail`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://video-api.picsart.io/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `X-Picsart-API-Key`

Update/Set the Video Thumbnail.

## Request body

- object
  - `video_url` string, uri: Source video URL.
  - `image` string, binary: Source image file (binary). (If this parameter is present, the other image source parameters must be empty.)
  - `image_url` string, uri: Source image URL. (If this parameter is present, the other image source parameters must be empty.)

## Response `202`

Request successfully accepted for an asynchronous transformation.
