# Get Video Metadata

`POST /metadata`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://video-api.picsart.io/v1`
- URL: `https://video-api.picsart.io/v1/metadata`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Picsart-API-Key`

Analysis the Video and provides the Metadata.

## Request body

- VideoParameters
  - `video_url` string, uri: Source video URL.

    - `duration` number, nullable: Total duration of the file in seconds
    - `format_name` string, nullable: Container format name
    - `video_codec_name` string, nullable: Video codec name
    - `video_width` integer, nullable: Video width in pixels

    - `video_duration` number, nullable: Video stream duration in seconds
    - `video_bit_rate` integer, nullable: Video stream bit rate in bits per second

    - `audio_codec_name` string, nullable: Audio codec name

    - `audio_duration` number, nullable: Audio stream duration in seconds
