# Extract Audio

`POST /export/audio`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://video-api.picsart.io/v1`
- URL: `https://video-api.picsart.io/v1/export/audio`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Picsart-API-Key`

Extract the input video's audio channel.

## Request body

- object
  - `video_url` string, uri: Source video URL.
  - `format` 'mp3' | 'm4a' | 'wav' | 'flac': Optionally select one of the audio formats (mp3 is chosen if left blank). Options are as follows: * mp3 * m4a * wav * flac

## Response `202`

Request successfully accepted for an asynchronous transformation.

  - `status` 'success' | 'error' | 'processing' | 'queued'
