# Get project

`GET /projects/{id}`

Retrieves a project by its unique GUID, including lightweight survey summaries.

      - `creatorName` string, nullable: Name of the team member who created the survey

        - `id` string, required: Opaque tag identifier (tag_<32-hex>)
        - `name` string, required: Tag name
      - `projects` object[]: Projects the survey belongs to

      - `externalId` string: Optional opaque correlation key. Omitted when unset. Case-sensitive and byte-exact.
      - `template` object, nullable: The template the survey was made from, or null. GET the survey for its constraints.
        - `id` string, nullable: Template id (cmb_...), or null when the template can no longer be addressed

      - `elements` object[]: Questions in this survey (summary view)
