# Create Payment Method

`POST /v4/accounts/{voip_id}/payment-methods`

Create an individual payment method.

## Path parameters

- `voip_id` integer, required

## Request body

- PaymentMethod
  - `account_id` integer, nullable: API Account ID
  - `status` 'onfile' | 'primary' | 'hidden', nullable: Can be 'primary' = primary card used for billing, 'onfile' = card on file, 'hidden' = deleted card
  - `nickname` string, nullable: Name of Card
  - `type` 'cc', required: 'cc' for credit card
  - `cc_token` string, required: Token obtained via POST /v4/credit-cards/provider
