# Revoke all of a user's session keys.

`DELETE /api/users/{username}/session-keys`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/users/{username}/session-keys`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Revokes every session key the user holds, signing the person out everywhere. Long-lived keys are unaffected. Requires an administrator as well as the scope. Each key is recorded as an api_key_deleted audit event naming the calling administrator and API key. Requires the `api-keys:write` scope.

How many session keys were revoked.

  - `revoked` integer

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: The Authorization header is absent or the API key is not recognized.
- `403`: The key does not hold api-keys:write, or the caller is not an administrator.
- `404`: There is no user with that username.
- `406`: No representation matches Accept.
- `413`: Content Too Large
- `415`: Unsupported Media Type
- `500`: Internal Server Error
- `503`: Service Unavailable
