# Raise the workspace's rate limit tier

`POST /rate-limits/tier/raise`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.phaseo.app/v1`

Raises an eligible workspace one tier for a limited time. Only the workspace owner can raise, with an OAuth token holding rate_limits:write; management keys are refused so a leaked key cannot lift its own workspace's limits.

    - `refusal` string, nullable: Why a raise is not available now; null when eligible.
    - `activeUntil` number, nullable: When an active raise ends (Unix milliseconds).
    - `availableAt` number, nullable: When the next raise may be requested (Unix milliseconds).
    - `durationDays` number
    - `thresholds` object
      - `minAgeDays` number
      - `minLifetimePaidSpendUsd` number
    - `canRaise` boolean: True when the caller is the workspace owner and the workspace is eligible.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Not the workspace owner, a management key, or token lacks rate_limits:write
- `409`: The workspace cannot raise its limit now (see reason)
