# Create a project

`POST /projects`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.phare.io`

Create a project. Requires an organization-scoped API key.

Requires the `projects:write` permission.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: Project name
  - `members` integer[], required: List of team members that are part of this project
  - `settings` object: Project settings
    - `use_incident_ai` boolean: Whether to generate AI summaries for incidents
    - `use_incident_merging` boolean: Whether to use incident merging
    - `incident_merging_time_window` 5 | 10 | 30 | 60 | 120 | 180: Time window for incident merging in minutes

## Response `201`

Success, project created

  - `slug` string: Project slug
  - `name` string, required: Project name
  - `members` integer[], required: List of team members that are part of this project
  - `settings` object: Project settings
    - `use_incident_ai` boolean: Whether to generate AI summaries for incidents
    - `use_incident_merging` boolean: Whether to use incident merging
    - `incident_merging_time_window` 5 | 10 | 30 | 60 | 120 | 180: Time window for incident merging in minutes
  - `created_at` string, date-time: Date of creation for the entity
  - `updated_at` string, date-time: Date of last update for the entity
