# Delete app

`DELETE /apps/{appRef}`

Cascades deployments, env vars, custom domains, and the PocketBase sidecar. During the sunset window (T-0 .. T+90) this is gated: the override requires `?acknowledge=forfeit-export-window` AND a single-use `X-Sunset-Forfeit-Grant` token minted by the dashboard password-reauth flow (only the dashboard can create one). CLI/MCP cannot delete during sunset.

## Other responses

- `409`: Deploy in progress
- `503`: Platform is in sunset read-only mode (at or past T-0). Mutating routes are frozen (`platform_read_only`); app/account delete is gated (`platform_delete_gated`) unless the dashboard password-reauth override is supplied.
