# Get a seat

`GET /v1/seats/{seatId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.peppolstatus.com`

  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

A Peppol certificate seat: its embedded provider (verified mapping or unverified cert-CN fallback) and the hosts it was observed operating.

The seat.

  - `seat_id` string, required
  - `provider` SeatProvider, required: Embedded provider for a seat, verified mapping or unverified CN fallback.
    - `slug` string, nullable, required
    - `name` string, nullable, required
    - `country` string, nullable, required
    - `verified` boolean, required
    - `key` string, nullable: The curated provider's OpenPeppol registry natural key, when the mapping carries one. It decides whether the seat's operator and a host's owner are the same party; it is not a /v1/aps route key and not the slug. Optional: absent on a cached response minted before the field shipped.
  - `cert_org` string, nullable, required
  - `participant_count` integer, nullable: Participants this Seat currently serves; null until the seat_org_stats rollup has a row (issue #451).
  - `unique_organizations` integer, nullable: Unique organizations across the Seat's roster (distinct company_key); null until the rollup has computed it (issue #451).
  - `ids_per_organization` number, nullable: participant_count / unique_organizations; null under the <100-participant noise guard or before the rollup computes it (issue #451).
  - `hosts` SeatHost[], required
    - `hostname` string, required
    - `role` 'SMP' | 'AP', required
    - `since` string, date-time, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `404`: No such seat is known.
