# Associate a GoCardless mandate to a customer

`POST /api/external/v2/gocardless_mandates/{gocardless_mandate_id}/associations`

This endpoint allows you to associate a GoCardless mandate to a customer.

Association created successfully.

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Access token is missing or invalid
- `403`: Access to this resource forbidden

- `422`: Unprocessable content
