# Read Receipt

`POST /api/v1/expenses/read`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.peil.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.peil.app/api/v1/expenses/read`
- Auth: OAuth 2 (password, token URL `/api/v1/auth/jwt/login`)

Read the photos or PDF of one receipt into the expense form's fields.
Nothing is saved as an expense: the user confirms the form. Codes in
`detail`: READING_UNAVAILABLE (503), READING_BUSY (503), READING_LIMIT (429,
READINGS_PER_DAY per account), READING_FAILED
(502), and the file codes (422/413): empty, too_many, too_large,
unsupported_type, unreadable, image_too_large.
