# Set a password using an emailed recovery token

`POST /auth/reset-password`

Better Auth accepts JSON {token,newPassword}. A successful reset consumes the token and revokes all existing sessions.

## Response `200`

Password changed; sign in again

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid or expired token, or invalid password
