# Record a completed image download initiation

`POST /api/measurement/downloads`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.peelaway.io`
- URL: `https://api.peelaway.io/api/measurement/downloads`
- Auth: API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Browser session, trusted Origin, optional measurement consent and 1–10 owned, completed jobIds required. Deduplicated by job ID. A public image download cannot activate another user.

- `400`: Invalid job IDs
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Browser origin/session required
