# Delete your account after a new sign-in

`POST /api/account/delete`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.peelaway.io`

- Auth: API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Requires JSON {confirmation:'DELETE',challenge}. The session must have been created after the challenge. A guest account (opened in the app before sign-up) has no credential to sign in again with, so it sends only {confirmation:'DELETE'} from its own session. Revokes Apple tokens, cancels Stripe subscriptions without a final charge and expires open checkouts, cancels Google Play renewals, stops pending Look and Moment workflows, and purges stored images before Better Auth deletes the account and related database rows. App Store subscriptions must be canceled by the customer in their Apple account.
