# List Facts

`GET /facts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.peec.ai/customer/v1`
- URL: `https://api.peec.ai/customer/v1/facts`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - API key in query parameter `api_key`
  - HTTP bearer

List the facts a project uses to check claims found in AI answers. Manual facts were added by a person; website facts were extracted from the project's website. Inactive facts are listed but excluded from future fact-checking. Deleted facts are never returned. Use the returned `id` as a `fact_id` in Update Facts, Delete Facts, and the `fact_ids` filter of Get Brand Perception Fact-Checking Verdicts.

## Query parameters

- `project_id` string: Required if using a company api key
- `origin` 'website' | 'manual': Only include facts added this way: manual or website.
- `is_active` string: Only include facts that are (true) or are not (false) used in future fact-checking.
- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer

## Response `200`

The project's facts, newest first

- object: The project's facts, newest first
  - `data` object[], required
    - `id` string, uuid, required
    - `text` string, required: The statement Peec checks AI claims against.
    - `origin` 'website' | 'manual', required: How the fact was added: `manual` by a person, `website` extracted from the project's website.
    - `is_active` boolean, required: Whether Peec uses the fact in future fact-checking. An inactive fact stays listed.
    - `edited_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: When the wording was last changed, or null if never edited.
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `total_count` number, required
  - `fact_limit` number, nullable, required: How many active facts the project's plan allows, or null for unlimited.
  - `active_fact_count` number, required: How many active facts the project holds now. Creating or activating facts beyond `fact_limit` is rejected.
