# Get Brand Perception Attribute Sources

`GET /brand-perception/attribute-sources`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.peec.ai/customer/v1`
- URL: `https://api.peec.ai/customer/v1/brand-perception/attribute-sources`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - API key in query parameter `api_key`
  - HTTP bearer

The sources feeding one attribute's associations: the URLs AI answers cited when describing the brand with this attribute. Data is aggregated across all brand-perception runs (no date range), and unlike the attribute rankings it is not scoped to one industry. An unknown attribute returns an empty result.

## Query parameters

- `project_id` string: Required if using a company api key
- `attribute` string, required: The attribute name, exactly as returned by the brand-attributes or attribute-rankings endpoints.
- `model_channel_ids` string[]: Only include answers from these AI engine channels (repeat the parameter for multiple values). Omit to aggregate across all tracked channels.
- `order_by` object[]: Sort results by one or more fields. Multiple entries create a multi-key sort. Direction defaults to desc. When omitted, a default ordering is applied.
  - `field` 'occurrences' | 'retrievals' | 'citation_rate', required
  - `direction` 'asc' | 'desc'
- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer

    - `url_classification` string, required: Classification of the URL.
    - `domain_classification` string, required: Classification of the domain.
    - `occurrences` number, required: How many AI answers about this attribute cited this source (all time).
    - `retrievals` number, required: Distinct chats the source was retrieved in.
    - `citation_rate` number, required: Mean citations per chat the source was retrieved in. An average, not a percentage — can exceed 1.
  - `total_count` number, required: Total number of sources, ignoring pagination
