# Create a property

`POST /api/create_property`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.pedra.ai`
- URL: `https://app.pedra.ai/api/create_property`
- Auth: none required

Creates an empty property and returns its propertyId and an appUrl (open it in Pedra to upload brand-new local photos).

## Request body

- object
  - `apiKey` string, required: Account API key, sent in the request body. Get one at https://app.pedra.ai under Settings → API.
  - `name` string: Property name, e.g. the listing address.

## Response `200`

Property created.

  - `propertyId` string
  - `appUrl` string

## Other responses

- `404`: Missing, invalid, or revoked API key.
- `405`: Wrong HTTP method — all endpoints accept POST (credits also accepts GET).
