# Email proof of payout

`POST /merchants/{merchantId}/email-proof-of-payout/{payoutRequestId}/{payoutId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox-payouts.peachpayments.com/api`
- URL: `https://sandbox-payouts.peachpayments.com/api/merchants/{merchantId}/email-proof-of-payout/{payoutRequestId}/{payoutId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create and send a proof of payout PDF by email to the specified recipients. Only successful payouts are supported; merchant recon email is added as CC.

## Path parameters

- `merchantId` string, required: A unique merchant ID provided by Peach Payments in hexadecimal format.
- `payoutRequestId` string, required: A valid v4 UUID expressed in lowercase with dashes.
- `payoutId` string, required: A valid v4 UUID expressed in lowercase with dashes.

## Request body

  - `to` string[], required: Email addresses to send the proof of payout to.

## Response `200`

Proof of payout email sent.

  - `cc` string: CC address used (recon email, primary as fallback).

## Other responses

- `400`: There was an error with the request. Please fix the request and try again.
- `401`: The request is not authenticated. Please re-authenticate and provide a new token.
- `403`: The request is not authorised. Please contact your business administrator.
- `404`: The payout or payout request was not found, or the payout is not successful.
