# Request human approval to enable one disabled tool

`POST /credits/tools/access-requests`

## Request

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

REST counterpart to MCP request_tool_access. Creates (or reissues) a short-lived approval link for one disabled endpoint. Send approval_url to a workspace member who can approve catalog changes; approval enables the tool in the caller's tool set. Poll GET /credits/tools/access-requests/{requestId} for the decision. Enables and calls nothing itself; free.

## Other responses

- `201`: Approval link issued
- `400`: Invalid endpoint slug
- `401`: Missing or invalid execution credential
- `403`: This credential cannot request workspace tool access
- `404`: Endpoint not found or unavailable
- `429`: Too many recent access requests from this credential
