# Set the workspace default markup

`PUT /credits/catalog`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.paywithlocus.com/api`

Sets the tenant-wide default percentage and flat markup applied to every endpoint that has no provider or endpoint override. This is the base of the three-level precedence endpoint over provider over global that GET /credits/pricing/explain reports as markupSource. Send either field alone to change just that one; null restores the platform default.

  - `markupBps` integer, nullable: Percentage markup in basis points, capped by the workspace markup ceiling. null restores the default.
  - `flatMarkupUsdc` string: Non-negative exact decimal string with at most six fractional digits. Endpoint-specific positivity and amount limits still apply.

## Other responses

- `400`: Unknown field, no field supplied, or a markup above the workspace ceiling.
- `403`: The authenticated management credential lacks one or more required scopes
