# Report the shopper's answer to a soundbite recognition

`POST /api/transactions/recognitions/{recognitionId}`

## Request

After a soundbite answer with recognition.confidence PROBABLE, the wallet asks the shopper "Is this the ad?" and reports the answer here, with the recognition.id of that answer. Measurement only: nothing is stored and nothing about the transaction changes. Send it fire-and-forget; a failure must never reach the shopper. Restricted to active banks. Accepts the recognition-only token ("scope": "soundbite") described on POST /api/transactions, and like it is answered only at the soundbite hosts: api.payware.eu and sandbox.payware.eu refuse it with 421 ERR_SOUNDBITE_HOST.

  - `answer` 'CONFIRMED' | 'REJECTED': CONFIRMED: the shopper said this is the ad. REJECTED: the shopper said it is not.

- `400`: ERR_INVALID_UUID - recognitionId is not a UUID; ERR_INVALID_RECOGNITION_ANSWER - answer is neither CONFIRMED nor REJECTED
- `401`: Unauthenticated - missing, malformed or expired credentials
- `403`: ERR_UNAUTHORIZED_OPERATION - the caller is not an active bank
- `429`: Too many requests - the caller exceeded its per-partner rate limit. Carries errorCode ERR_RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED and a Retry-After header, in seconds. The request was not processed, so the identical request is safe to retry once the window has passed.
- `500`: Internal server error
