# Get continuing education status

`GET /individuals/{id}/ce-status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.payna.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.payna.com/api/v1/individuals/{id}/ce-status`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns CE tracking data for each state license where hours are recorded. One record per state. Use `remaining_hours` and `deadline` to drive reminder logic. Records only appear when `required_hours` has been entered — states without CE data are omitted.

    - `status` 'compliant' | 'pending' | 'deficient', nullable: compliant = CE complete; pending = in progress; deficient = overdue.
    - `deadline` string, date, nullable: Date by which CE must be completed for the current cycle.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized.
- `404`: Individual not found.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
