# Capture a Payment

`POST /v1/payment_intents/{id}/capture`

Use secret API key to capture a Payment

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

  - `data` object
    - `attributes` object
      - `amount` integer: Amount to be collected by the Capture. A positive integer with minimum amount of 100. 100 is the smallest unit in cents. Amount should be less than or equal to the payment intent. If left blank, the whole amount would be captured.
