# Update a payment method

`PATCH /v1/payment_methods/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://orders-api.paymongo.com`
- URL: `https://orders-api.paymongo.com/v1/payment_methods/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Updates a saved card's `details.cvc`, the one attribute core-api updates; any other attribute is ignored, as core-api ignores it. Served by the service that decides the method (`processed_by`). A delegated (`Account-ID`) update is served by core-api. `PUT` is accepted and behaves the same.
