# Cancel capability request

`POST /v1/requests/{id}/cancel`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.paymongo.com`
- URL: `https://api.paymongo.com/v1/requests/{id}/cancel`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer

Cancels a capability request. Allowed from `draft`, `submitted`, `under_review` or `pending_clarification`. Rejected once the request is `processing` (the product is already being provisioned) or in a terminal status (`completed`, `declined`, `cancelled`). Takes no request body.

Documents the request uploaded that are still unapproved (on the `draft` purpose) are deleted with it. Ones a reviewer already promoted to a real purpose stay on the account.
