# Update a PayMongo Wallet transaction status

`PATCH /v1/paymongo_wallet/transactions/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ewallets-api.paymongo.com`
- URL: `https://ewallets-api.paymongo.com/v1/paymongo_wallet/transactions/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Moves a transaction to a new status. Called by core-api after the Transfers callback lands there. Idempotent: requesting the status the transaction already has returns it unchanged.

- UpdateTransactionRequestDTO: Request payload for moving a transaction to a new status, sent by core-api after the Transfers callback
  - `failed_code` 'insufficient_funds' | 'closed_loop_violation' | 'wallet_limit_exceeded' | 'wallet_inactive'
  - `transaction_status` 'succeeded' | 'failed' | 'expired' | 'reversed', required
