# Link a card token with an account

`POST /card/account/link`

## Request

Links an existing card token to an existing credit account in Lume and PayCredit, and configures the card spending limit. Provide either fixed_limit or percentage_limit, but not both.

## Request body

- LinkCardTokenAccountRequestDto: Request for linking an existing card token to a credit account and configuring its spending limit. Provide either a fixed monetary limit or a percentage limit, but not both.
  - `account_id` integer, required: Credit account identifier to which the existing card token will be linked.
  - `card_external_reference` string: Optional external reference of the card.
  - `card_token` integer, required: Card token to link to the account.
  - `fixed_limit` number: Fixed monetary spending limit for the card. Provide this or percentage_limit, but not both.
  - `percentage_limit` number: Percentage of the account credit limit available to the card. Provide this or fixed_limit, but not both.
  - `reset_on_cycle` boolean, required: Whether the card limit is reset automatically at the start of each statement cycle.

Card token successfully linked to account

  - `account_id` integer: Credit account identifier linked to the card token.
  - `card_external_reference` string: External reference of the linked card.
  - `card_token` integer: Card token linked to the account.
  - `fixed_limit` number: Configured fixed monetary spending limit for the card.
  - `percentage_limit` number: Configured percentage of the account credit limit available to the card.
  - `reset_on_cycle` boolean: Whether the card spending limit is reset automatically at the start of each statement cycle.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error/Bad Request
- `500`: Server error
