# Start dispute intake processing

`POST /disputes/intake/{disputeIntakeUUID}/start-processing`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.uat.paymentology.com/pty`
- URL: `https://api.uat.paymentology.com/pty/disputes/intake/{disputeIntakeUUID}/start-processing`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Closes intake for an open dispute intake and commences processing of
the disputes added to the intake. Processing includes generation of dispute form, linking to dispute and creating of zendesk ticket when processing is donme.

## Response `200`

Dispute intake closed and processing started.

  - `disputeIntakeUUID` string, uuid, required: Unique Identifier of the dispute intake whose processing started.
  - `status` 'PROCESSING', required: Current processing state of the dispute intake.
  - `summary` object, required: Counts of disputes in each processing state.
    - `total` integer, required: Total number of disputes in the intake.
    - `processing` integer, required: Number of disputes currently being processed.
    - `failed` integer, required: Number of disputes that failed processing.
    - `succeeded` integer, required: Number of disputes processed successfully.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failure. The response body contains one of the following codes: - MALFORMED_REQUEST: The request body is not valid JSON or cannot be parsed. - MISSING_REQUIRED_FIELD: A required field is missing or empty, such as cardIdentifier, dateFrom, dateTo, disputeUUID, or a required dispute field. - INVALID_FIELD_TYPE: A field has the wrong type, such as a string where a number or boolean is required. - INVALID_UUID_FORMAT: disputeUUID, or disputeIntakeUUID is not a valid UUID. - INVALID_ENUM_VALUE: A field contains an unsupported value, such as transactionSource or cardholderAcknowledgement. - INVALID_DATE_FORMAT: A date or date-time does not use the documented format. - INVALID_AMOUNT: A dispute amount is not a valid decimal, or minAmount is greater than maxAmount. - INVALID_FORM_CONTENT: Form content is malformed, contains invalid fields, or does not match the transaction source.
- `403`: Forbidden. The caller is authenticated but does not have permission to perform this operation.
- `404`: Dispute intake not found.
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
