# Get Product By ID

`GET /products/{productId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pax8.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.pax8.com/v1/products/{productId}`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://token-manager.pax8.com/oauth/token`

Returns only the product record for the productId you specify

- `productId` string, required

  - `id` string, uuid
  - `name` string: The name of a product
  - `vendorName` string: The name of the vendor
  - `shortDescription` string: A short description of the product
  - `description` string: A long description of the Product
  - `sku` string: The product sku
  - `vendorSku` string: The product vendor sku
  - `altVendorSku` string, uuid: The Microsoft legacy sku has been deprecated. Please transition to vendorSku
  - `requiresCommitment` boolean: Whether the product requires a commitment
