# Get Project Face Categories Endpoint

`GET /getProjectFaceCategories`

Returns distinct face category labels for a project (from persons and project_face_categories).
Used for dropdowns when adding/editing faces. When category is null, UI shows "user added" or "auto detected" from creation_type.

## Query parameters

- `projectId` string, required
