# Get the workspace spending limits

`GET /v1/spending-limits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.patricia.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.patricia.app/v1/spending-limits`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Effective per-run budgets (grouped) plus the monthly cap for the caller's workspace, labelling each value as Patricia's recommended default or a workspace override. About the dollar amounts: Usage cost is Patricia's measure of what your work costs to run, not what you paid for your credits.

## Headers

- `X-Tenant-Id` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- SpendingLimitsResponse: Effective spending limits for the caller's workspace (policy default + override).
  - `monthly_cap` MonthlyCapView, required: The optional workspace-wide monthly spend ceiling. ``dollars=None`` means no monthly cap; the remaining credit balance is the limit. Dollar amounts are usage cost. Usage cost is Patricia's measure of what your work costs to run, not what you paid for your credits.
    - `dollars` number, nullable, required
    - `source` string, required
    - `min_dollars` number, required
    - `max_dollars` number, required
  - `groups` GroupLimitView[], required
    - `key` string, required
    - `label` string, required
    - `description` string, required
    - `dollars` number, required
    - `source` string, required
    - `min_dollars` number, required
    - `max_dollars` number, required
    - `triggers` TriggerLimitView[], required
      - `key` string, required
      - `label` string, required
      - `dollars` number, required
      - `source` string, required
  - `over_budget` OverBudgetView, required: What happens when a single run reaches its per-run limit. ``"warn"`` (the platform default): Patricia keeps going past the limit and tells the owner what it cost, but a safety stop still ends any run that reaches four times its limit, or sooner when the workspace is close to its monthly cap or low on credits. ``"stop"`` (opt-in): the task stops at the limit itself.
    - `behavior` 'warn' | 'stop', required
    - `source` string, required
  - `using_recommended` boolean, required
