# Opt a subject out of a celebration fact (subject-global)

`POST /v1/person-facts/opt-out`

Opt a subject out of a canonical fact. GLOBAL to the subject: shared by every skill that references the fact (one skill can't leak what another suppressed). Purges the stored value + projection columns so the projector can never mint an occurrence for the subject; bumps fact_revision so any in-flight occurrence skips at the pre-send re-check.

- `403`: Forbidden. Inspect response body `code` for the specific reason (for example: PERMISSION_DENIED, EMAIL_NOT_VERIFIED, TENANT_ACCESS_REQUIRED, ROLE_UNRESOLVED)
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation error
