# Deny a tool-approval request

`POST /v1/permission-requests/{permission_request_id}/deny`

## Request

Deny a pending request; its run resolves without running the tool (async). A verified requester can answer their pending task offer with choice=none without runs:execute.

## Request body

- TaskOfferSelection: One answer to one frozen offer. The ``all`` choice excludes recipient-pinned lines. ``all`` and ``none`` carry no chosen keys; ``chosen`` carries at least one key and no key twice.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden. Inspect response body `code` for the specific reason (for example: PERMISSION_DENIED, EMAIL_NOT_VERIFIED, TENANT_ACCESS_REQUIRED, ROLE_UNRESOLVED)
- `404`: Not found
- `409`: Conflict: the request has already been resolved (error_type already_resolved).
- `422`: Validation error
- `503`: Service unavailable: the task queue could not accept the decision.
