# Update the workspace outreach settings

`PATCH /v1/outreach-settings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.patricia.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Allow or stop marketing emails to your team. Each teammate can still unsubscribe. Welcome messages in chat do not depend on this setting. New workspaces start with this on.

- `X-Tenant-Id` string, nullable

## Request body

- OutreachSettingsUpdate: PATCH body: the one knob. ``StrictBool`` on purpose (matching the stored block's model): a consent switch must never flip on a coerced ``"yes"``/``1``.
  - `enabled` boolean, required: Allow marketing emails to your team. Change this in the dashboard.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- OutreachSettingsResponse: The workspace marketing-email switch as stored (fail-closed default OFF).
  - `enabled` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden. Inspect response body `code` for the specific reason (for example: PERMISSION_DENIED, EMAIL_NOT_VERIFIED, TENANT_ACCESS_REQUIRED, ROLE_UNRESOLVED)
- `404`: Not found
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation error
