# Join Patricia to public Slack channels

`POST /v1/integrations/slack/channel-joins`

- SlackChannelJoinRequest: Public Slack channel ids Patricia should join in this request.
  - `channel_ids` string[], required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- SlackChannelJoinResponse: Per-channel outcomes from an interactive Slack join request.
  - `joined` string[], required: Patricia is in these channels, including ones she was already in.
  - `skipped` string[], required: A person must clear an archived, private, or workspace-policy blocker for these channels.
  - `failed` string[], required: Slack did not answer for these channels in time, so trying again may work.
  - `queued` string[], required: Patricia is joining these in the background right now.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden. Inspect response body `code` for the specific reason (for example: PERMISSION_DENIED, EMAIL_NOT_VERIFIED, TENANT_ACCESS_REQUIRED, ROLE_UNRESOLVED)
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation error
