# Get a data-deletion request status

`GET /v1/data-deletion/status/{token}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.patricia.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.patricia.app/v1/data-deletion/status/{token}`
- Auth: none declared

## Path parameters

- `token` string, required: The request status capability token.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- DataDeletionStatus: What a person is told about their own request. Plain words, and the whole answer. ``kept`` and ``known_residuals`` are not decoration. A connected account that a standing approval still references is TOMBSTONED rather than deleted, and the surviving row keeps the provider's own identifier for that person. Reporting only the deletion counts would let "completed" stand in for "completed, except for the parts we told nobody about".
  - `state` 'received' | 'in_progress' | 'completed' | 'failed' | 'not_found', required
  - `message` string, required
  - `requested_at` string, date-time, required
  - `completed_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `deleted` object, nullable
  - `kept` string[], nullable
  - `known_residuals` string[], nullable

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
