# Get whether Patricia replies on her own in this conversation

`GET /v1/conversations/{conversation_id}/proactive-mode`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.patricia.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.patricia.app/v1/conversations/{conversation_id}/proactive-mode`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

How freely Patricia replies in one conversation: whether she stays out, answers only when asked, or joins in on her own. Also reports where the setting comes from, so a conversation nobody has configured says it is following the workspace setting (or Patricia's standard one) instead of coming back empty. Read-only.
