# Start a console chat turn

`POST /v1/console-chat/messages`

## Request

Start a Patricia run in the authenticated member's private console thread.

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string, required
- `X-Tenant-Id` string, nullable

## Request body

- ConsoleMessageRequest: A new console turn with no client-controlled thread coordinate.
  - `text` string, required
  - `conversation_id` string, uuid, nullable

## Response `202`

Successful Response

- ConsoleMessageResponse: The private conversation that accepted the queued turn.
  - `conversation_id` string, uuid, required
  - `accepted` true
  - `tracking_expires_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden. Inspect response body `code` for the specific reason (for example: PERMISSION_DENIED, EMAIL_NOT_VERIFIED, TENANT_ACCESS_REQUIRED, ROLE_UNRESOLVED)
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation error
- `503`: Console chat or the task queue is unavailable.
