# Complete signup

`POST /v1/auth/email-verifications`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.patricia.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Step two of email signup. Redeems the emailed token, chooses the password, and creates the verified account. The caller then signs in normally.

## Request body

- EmailVerificationRequest: Sign-up STEP TWO: redeem the emailed link and choose a password. Everything that describes the account arrives here rather than at step one, because this is the first request whose sender has demonstrated they hold the mailbox.
  - `token` string, required: The opaque token from the emailed link.
  - `password` string, password, required
  - `first_name` string, nullable
  - `last_name` string, nullable
  - `org_name` string, nullable: Workspace name (defaults if omitted).
  - `gclid` string, nullable
  - `fbclid` string, nullable
  - `ttclid` string, nullable
  - `li_fat_id` string, nullable
  - `msclkid` string, nullable
  - `epik` string, nullable
  - `twclid` string, nullable
  - `sccid` string, nullable

## Response `201`

The verified address; the account now exists.

- EmailVerificationResponse: The address the caller just proved they hold, so signing in needs no retyping. Safe to return here and nowhere else: presenting the emailed token IS the proof, so this reveals nothing the caller did not already know.

## Other responses

- `400`: The link is not valid — expired, already used, or unrecognized (``INVALID_AUTH_ACTION``)
- `409`: The address was claimed while this link was outstanding
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Too many requests from this client (``RATE_LIMITED``)
