# Create a workspace team skill

`POST /v1/admin/tenants/{tenant_id}/team-skills`

## Request

Creates an instruction skill in one workspace from `name`, `description` and `instructions`, shares it with the whole team, and switches it on in the same request. Later runs in that workspace can use it, within Patricia's usual instruction limits. The recorded author and approver are your staff account, not a workspace member. The call sends no message and creates no schedule. Refused when the workspace already has a skill with the same slug, even when the content matches. Returns the skill and `changed`. The creation is recorded against your staff account in the workspace audit log and the platform audit log.

## Path parameters

- `tenant_id` string, uuid, required: The workspace id.

## Request body

- AdminTeamSkillCreate
  - `name` string, required: The name the team sees, 1 to 255 characters. It also sets the skill's slug.
  - `description` string, required: One sentence on when the skill helps, 1 to 2,000 characters.
  - `instructions` string, required: The guidance Patricia follows, in plain markdown, 1 to 24,000 characters.

## Other responses

- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation error
