# Pause a workspace team skill

`POST /v1/admin/tenants/{tenant_id}/team-skills/{skill_id}/pauses`

## Request

Pauses one team skill for the whole workspace. A skill the workspace wrote is paused for the team. One of Patricia's own skills is switched off for this workspace only, and other workspaces keep it. The skill's text, versions and settings are kept. Pausing a paused skill answers `changed` false. Refused for one of Patricia's skills when a personal copy or a staff test install holds it. The pause is recorded against your staff account in the workspace audit log and the platform audit log.

- `skill_id` string, uuid, required: The skill id, from the workspace's team skill list.
