# Reopen an ingress event's processing state

`POST /v1/admin/ingress/reopen`

## Request

Reset retry and park processing state for an ingress event. Existing terminal and outage-note notification tombstones remain immutable. Events with a durable inbound election are rejected. Admin only.

## Request body

- IngressReopenRequest: Exact ingress identity to reopen.
  - `platform_code` string, required
  - `event_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- IngressReopenResult: Confirmation that processing state was reset.
  - `platform_code` string, required
  - `event_id` string, required
  - `reopened` boolean
  - `fallback_sent_at` string, date-time, nullable: Existing terminal notification tombstone, preserved by this operation.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Permission denied (PERMISSION_DENIED) or email not verified (EMAIL_NOT_VERIFIED)
- `404`: Not found
- `409`: Conflict: inspect ``errors[0].type`` for the specific case (``run_backed``)
- `422`: Validation error
