# Assignments received by an assignee

`GET /v1/assignments`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.patentdata.ai`
- URL: `https://api.patentdata.ai/v1/assignments`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - HTTP bearer

Answers: what patents/applications has this company acquired or been assigned, and when. `assignee` is an entity id (ent_...) or family id (fam_...) from /v1/entities/search, or a name (matched as a normalized prefix, so 'Impossible Foods' finds 'IMPOSSIBLE FOODS INC.'). `recorded_after` narrows to recordations after a date — use it to watch for new acquisitions. Paginated newest first with `next_cursor`. Costs 1 unit per 100 rows.

## Query parameters

- `assignee` string, required: Entity id (ent_...), family id (fam_...) or assignee name.
- `recorded_after` string, date, nullable: Only recordations strictly after this ISO date.
- `limit` integer: Page size. Each 100 rows returned costs 1 request unit.
- `cursor` string, nullable: Opaque cursor from a previous response's next_cursor. Omit for the first page.
