# Sends an organization invite to the given email.

`POST /api/organization/invite`

## Request

Generates and sends an invitation link for the given organization to the given user email with a default rolw of ReadOnlyUser.

## Request body

- InviteUserToOrganizationData: Parameters required to invite a user to an organization
  - `orgID` string, uuid, required: ID of the organization to which this invite pertains
  - `expiration` string, date-time, nullable: Timestamp at which this invitation will no longer be valid
  - `role` 'PrivilegedUser' | 'ReadOnlyUser' | 'StandardUser' | 'SuperUser'
  - `inviteEmail` string, required: Email to send the invite to

## Response `200`

OK

- OrgInviteResponse: Response indicating that an organization invitation was successfully sent.
  - `message` string, required: Message with additional information
  - `inviteID` string, uuid, required: ID of the invitation generated/sent
