# List all account orders

`GET /accounts/{accountId}/orders/all`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.snaptrade.com`
- URL: `https://api.snaptrade.com/accounts/{accountId}/orders/all`
- Auth: API key in header `Signature` and API key in query parameter `clientId` and API key in query parameter `timestamp`

Returns a list of recent orders in the specified account, in the same `kind`-discriminated format as `/accounts/{accountId}/positions/all`.

Every order carries a `legs` list with at least one leg. Each leg's `instrument` uses the same `Instrument` union as positions; switch on `instrument.kind` to know which fields are present. Multi-leg orders (spreads, strangles, covered calls) are a single order with multiple legs. Orders that belong to a complex order group (OCO, OTO, OTOCO) share a `group.id`.

`order_type` is an object discriminated by `kind`. Each kind declares the price fields it requires (`limit_price` on `limit`, `stop_price` on `stop`, both on `stop_limit`, `trail` on `trailing_stop`), so a consumer never has to null-check a price that cannot exist for that kind. When the brokerage reports an order type we cannot normalize, `kind` is `other` and the brokerage's own label is in `raw_type`.

**Experimental:** this endpoint may change without notice.

If the connection has become disabled, it can no longer access the latest data from the brokerage, but will continue to return the last available cached state. Please see [this guide](/docs/fix-broken-connections) on how to fix a disabled connection.

## Path parameters

- `accountId` string, uuid, required: Unique identifier for the connected brokerage account. This is the UUID used to reference the account in SnapTrade.

## Query parameters

- `userId` string, required: SnapTrade User ID. This is chosen by the API partner and can be any string that is a) unique to the user, and b) immutable for the user. It is recommended to NOT use email addresses for this property because they are usually not immutable.
- `userSecret` string, required: SnapTrade User Secret. This is a randomly generated string and should be stored securely. If compromised, please rotate it via the [rotate user secret endpoint](/reference/Authentication/Authentication_resetSnapTradeUserSecret).
- `state` 'all' | 'open' | 'executed'
- `days` integer

## Response `200`

OK

  - `results` AccountOrder[], required: Orders returned for the request.
    - `brokerage_order_id` string, required: Order ID returned by brokerage. This is the unique identifier for the order in the brokerage system.

    - `order_type` union, required: The order type and the prices that belong to it. Use `kind` to determine which fields are present.
      - MarketOrderType: A market order. Executes at the best available price.
        - `kind` 'market', required
      - LimitOrderType: A limit order. For multi-leg orders `limit_price` is the net price per spread; see `price_effect` for its direction.
        - `kind` 'limit', required
        - `limit_price` string, decimal, required: The maximum price to pay for a buy, or the minimum price to accept for a sell.
      - StopOrderType: A stop order. Becomes a market order once `stop_price` is reached.
        - `kind` 'stop', required
        - `stop_price` string, decimal, required: The price at which the order is triggered.
      - StopLimitOrderType: A stop-limit order. Becomes a limit order at `limit_price` once `stop_price` is reached.
        - `kind` 'stop_limit', required

          - `type` 'DOLLAR' | 'PERCENT', required: Whether the trail `amount` is a dollar amount (`DOLLAR`) or a percentage (`PERCENT`). For example, if `amount` is "0.60" and `type` is `DOLLAR`, the stop price will trail the market price by $0.60. If `amount` is "5" and `type` is `PERCENT`, the stop price will trail the market price by 5%.
        - `stop_price` string, decimal, nullable: The current trigger price, when the brokerage reports it.
      - TrailingStopLimitOrderType: A trailing stop-limit order. The stop price trails the market price by `trail`; once triggered, a limit order at `limit_price` is placed.

## Other responses

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Check `X-RateLimit-Remaining` (customer-level) and `X-RateLimit-Account-Remaining` (account-level) to see which limit you hit, then wait for the matching `*-Reset` value before retrying. Not every header listed below appears on every operation. The `X-RateLimit-Account-*` headers are sent only where the per-account limit is enforced, and OAuth-authenticated requests never receive the customer-level `X-RateLimit-Limit`, `X-RateLimit-Remaining` or `X-RateLimit-Reset`. A separate per-authenticated-user limit, reported in no `X-RateLimit-*` header, covers OAuth-authenticated requests and signed requests not governed by the customer-level limit; it does not stack on top of that limit. So a 429 can arrive with every reported counter above zero — or with no `X-RateLimit-*` headers at all. Honour `Retry-After` in that case.
- `500`: Unexpected error
- `503`: Service Unavailable - the brokerage connection is busy syncing (sync lock held) or the brokerage API is temporarily unavailable. Safe to retry.
