# Verify an agent credential and inspect its claim state

`GET /api/auth/agent/status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://editor.pascal.app`
- URL: `https://editor.pascal.app/api/auth/agent/status`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a bounded status for the Bearer credential. It does not expose the accountable person, credential metadata, or private project data.

Active agent credential status

- AgentStatusResponse
  - `schemaVersion` 1, required
  - `agentId` string, required
  - `mode` 'autonomous' | 'delegated', required
  - `claimed` boolean, required: False only for an unclaimed autonomous agent. Delegated agents already act for a person.
  - `organizationScoped` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key/session
- `403`: Credential is valid but is not an agent credential
- `500`: Unexpected server error
