# Decision an Application

`PATCH /v2/applications/{application_key}/decision`

Update the decision of the given Application

## Path parameters

- `application_key` string, required

## Request body

  - `approved` boolean, nullable — The decision approval state, null removes existing decision
  - `decline_reason` string, nullable — The reason associated with the provided decision
  - `group_id_override` integer, nullable — The override group to move the Partner to after applying decision
  - `group_key_override` string, nullable — The override group to move the partner to after applying decision. If supplied, will take precedence over any group_id_override value also set.
  - `manager_email` string, nullable — The partner manager to assign to the partner after applying decision.
  - `tags` unknown[], nullable — The tag keys for the tags to assign to the partner. Optional.

Update the decision of the given Application

  - `data` object, required — Applications represent partnerstack partners attempting to join vendor programs via public form
    - `created_at` integer — Immutable Unix timestamp in milliseconds taken at time of creation

    - `decline_reason` string, nullable — Reason given by vendor for not approving a specific application
    - `flag_reasons` unknown[], nullable — Reasons why a partnership was flagged for fraud

    - `fraud_flagged` boolean — Wherether or not the partner has been flagged for fraud
    - `group_name` string — Name of the group to which the partner is applying to become a part of
    - `partnership_source` string, nullable — Source of the partnership created from this application
    - `team_blocked` boolean, nullable — Whether the partner team has been blocked by the program
    - `team_color` string, nullable — Color representing the partner's team
    - `team_key` string, nullable — Key representing the partner's team
    - `team_logo` string, nullable — Filename representing the team logo
    - `team_name` string, nullable — Name of the partner team to which this applying partner belongs
    - `with_profile` boolean, nullable — Whether the partner team has used their team_profile instead of filling out the application form
