# Delete a webhook connection

`DELETE /v1/projects/{projectId}/webhooks/connections/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.particle.pro`
- URL: `https://api.particle.pro/v1/projects/{projectId}/webhooks/connections/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Soft-deletes the connection. Alert channels referencing it remain in place; the delivery subscriber detects the deleted connection at delivery time and skips that channel (logged, not posted). The alert's overall delivery audit row still commits as SENT for a zero-fanout delivery rather than leaving the match permanently undelivered.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required: Project ID (base62-encoded).
- `id` string, required: Webhook connection ID (base62-encoded).
