# List the episode archive

`GET /v1/podcasts/episodes/archive`

## Request

Lists the months and days of the podcast episode archive, the complete history of transcribed episodes delivered as bulk files. **Available by arrangement.** Download a month or a day with `GET /v1/podcasts/episodes/archive/download`, then follow `GET /v1/podcasts/episodes/stream` from `stream_since`. To keep a copy current, list again with `updated_since` set to your previous `as_of` and download the days it returns.

## Query parameters

- `updated_since` string: Only list the days whose content changed after this time, to re-sync a copy you already hold. Pass the as_of of your previous sync. A listed day with 0 episodes no longer has any; remove your copy.

  - `as_of` string, date-time, nullable, required: The archive holds every episode change recorded up to this time. null until the archive's first full build completes.
  - `months` EpisodeArchiveMonth[], nullable, required: Months with archived episodes, oldest first.
    - `bytes` integer, required: Size of the whole month's download, gzipped.
    - `days` EpisodeArchiveDay[], nullable, required: The month's days. With updated_since, only the days that changed.
      - `bytes` integer, required: Size of the day's download, gzipped.
      - `date` string, required: The day, YYYY-MM-DD, by UTC publication date.
      - `episodes` integer, required: Episodes in the day. 0 means the day no longer has any; remove your copy.
      - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: The as_of at which the day's content last changed. Compare it with the as_of of your last sync.
      - `version` string, required: Changes whenever the day's content changes. It is the download's ETag.
    - `episodes` integer, required: Episodes in the whole month.
    - `month` string, required: The month, YYYY-MM, by UTC publication date.
    - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: The as_of at which the month's content last changed. Compare it with the as_of of your last sync.
    - `version` string, required: Changes whenever any day of the month changes. It is the download's ETag.
  - `stream_since` string, date-time, nullable, required: Pass this as since= to GET /v1/podcasts/episodes/stream to pick up where the archive leaves off. Some episodes will arrive twice; deduplicate on the episode id. null until the archive's first full build completes.
